EXPERT ANALYSIS. CLEAR NEXT STEPS.

01 / WHY THIS MATTERS

What AI says about you
comes from more than your website.

Publisher articles, reviews and comparison pages can all shape whether your brand makes the shortlist.

>95%

of sources were offsite.

In our analysis of The AA’s non-brand AI answers, most sources came from outside its own website.

We start with the questions your potential customers are asking.↓

02 / START WITH THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

We track the questions
that matter to your business.

A prompt is simply a question someone asks AI. We build a custom set around your audience, products and priorities.

That lets us compare how often you appear, how you’re described and which competitors get recommended.

EXAMPLE PROMPTS / MORTGAGES
“Which mortgage brokers are best for first-time buyers?”
“What are the alternatives to [brand]?”
“Is [brand] a good choice if I’m self-employed?”

We agree your prompts, markets and AI platforms before tracking begins.

Then our experts look at the answers and the sources behind them.↓

03 / UNDERSTAND WHAT’S HELPING OR HOLDING YOU BACK

Our AI search experts
show you where you stand and why.

We bring prompt tracking, competitor analysis and content research together to find your biggest opportunities.

02

How is your brand being described?

Where competitors are more visible and what their coverage tells us.

04

Which sources are informing the answers?

The publishers, reviews and other content AI cites, and where your brand is missing.

This is the approach behind our award-winning work with The AA.↓

SOURCES & REPORT SCOPE

What’s included and how to read the evidence.

Your £3,000 report

The one-off package includes an agreed custom prompt set, tracking during the agreed assessment window, analysis of visibility and brand representation, competitor and citation-source research, a prioritised report and a free one-hour education workshop with an AI search expert. The workshop covers terminology, tracking, KPIs, interpretation and how to use the findings.

Brand, markets, languages, competitors, platforms, prompt volume, tracking frequency, access requirements and delivery timing are agreed before starting. Ongoing monitoring, software access beyond the assessment, content production, publisher placements, media spend and implementation are separately scoped.

What prompt tracking tells you

Tracking is based on a defined sample of prompts and recorded answers. AI responses vary by platform, date, model and user context. Visibility measures how often the brand appears within that sample; it is not market share, a complete measure of all users’ answers or a guarantee of recommendation. We define each KPI and its denominator in the report. Citation analysis records sources shown in answers; it cannot reveal every source used in model training or generation.

Visibility and commercial outcomes are assessed separately. Available referral and analytics data can help identify traffic and leads, but not every AI-influenced visit is attributable. The mortgage questions and report page in this presentation are illustrative.

The AA

Planit’s “Intro Creds — We know insurance” deck, updated 21 October 2026, reports AI search visibility rising from 40% to 94% across priority prompts. These figures describe the tracked campaign prompt set, not every AI answer or all of The AA’s search activity. The supplied FAC presentation photo reports more than 95% offsite sources for non-brand prompts. This is a finding for that analysis, not a universal market statistic.

The Performance Marketing Awards independently confirms Planit and The AA as the 2026 Gold winner for Best Finance and Insurance Campaign. The judges’ quotation is an excerpt, with wording taken from the official award entry.

Habito

Planit’s “Intro Creds — We know insurance” deck, updated 21 October 2026, includes the Habito case study and a testimonial attributed to Ying Tan, CEO of Habito by Monzo. The testimonial reports 17× growth in directly attributable ChatGPT leads “in just a few months”. The supplied deck does not establish the baseline lead count, exact comparison dates or attribution method. The case is therefore presented as a client-reported result, without adding a specific timeframe, ROI figure or causal claim.

The case studies describe broader campaign work, including activation, rather than results produced by a standalone assessment. They are examples of Planit’s experience, not forecasts or guarantees for another business.

Images and branding

FAC photographs and the PMA award badge were supplied by Planit for this presentation. The report cover is an illustrative mockup in Planit’s tangelo, navy and cream branding.
